UiTM in My Heart

Before this, when I was in my secondary school, I never picked UiTM as my choices to continue my study in diploma. I never think that UiTM is the suitable place for me, maybe because I never want to know UiTM closely. Moreover, my teacher at school never brings us to the UiTM to introduce us more. They only bring us to the private University and two or three local University in Malaysia. Maybe, it’s being one of the factors that we never select UiTM as our future to continue study.
After SPM, I try apply to continue my study from others University. Unfortunately, there was no answer from them. I don’t know, whether my result is bad or I get to compete with other people to place myself in the University. I think my result is quite good. For the secondly, I try apply UiTM to continue my study. Luckily, I was being accepted. From that moment, I further my study in Communication ad Media Studies in UiTM Alor Gajah, Malacca.
Three years I have been there for my diploma. Three years is more than enough for me to know UiTM closer. I started to fall in love with UiTM because it’s not just helped me, but also help all Malay students. This University was there because to help Malay student to achieve their success. UiTM is the place for the Malay student to continue their study. UiTM also offer good course and also provide a good condition for the student. Beside that, UiTM also produce many people who nowadays already became somebody. UiTM also produce many graduates who multi tasking which is know everything for work in the industry.
Now I am still at the UiTM to further my study for degree level. UiTM is still in my heart because of that I still choose UiTM as the first place to continue my study. I also can choose others University for further my study but UiTM still be my first choice. Maybe because I already know UiTM closely and know how much UiTM render services for the Malay people and also for me, because UiTM give me an opportunity to success in my life until now.
I feel so thankful to the UiTM because give me a way to achieve success in my life. I hope UiTM always become the first choices and place for the Malay student to continue their study and continue help our nation to success in their life. I also pray that UiTM can produce more graduate who can success in their work and also success in their future. As we know, UiTM as a world class University, I hope we as a UiTM student can help UiTM to maintain their performance and education into the highest level.

Hari Raya is the best gift
Eat, drink and ask forgiveness – those are the aims of many on the first day of Hari Raya. Which is why it is not recommended for women to wear tight-fitting kebayas or sheer baju kurungs, as it wouldn’t be as flattering after all that feasting. Plus, with so many scrumptious food to eat and houses to visit, would one be able to suppress the temptations for the sake of maintaining a slim silhouette?
In Bahasa Malaysia, Hari Raya means the "Day of Celebration". A public holiday in Malaysia, it is celebrated by all Malaysians regardless their races or religions. Sometimes the events and activities leading to the day itself, like driving home to the kampung or scrubbing the house clean inside and out, mean more to some.
But for most people, nothing beats the moment when it is time to seek forgiveness from parents and the elderly on the morning of Hari Raya. I have seen grown men reduced to tears, ladies sobbing and children crying - which just tear one’s heart out when seeking for forgiveness from family, friends and relatives over the wrongdoings that had been done over the past year. After all, forgiving is much better than holding a grudge for a year.
Adorning colorful, often new Raya attire like Baju Kurung, Baju Kebaya, Baju Melayu and all sorts is something that most are looking forward to. After a small breakfast just to line the stomach after a month of not having it, an annual “Solat Sunat Hari Raya” is performed at the mosque, and a visit to the graveyard to pray for the dearly departed ones is followed.
While the tradition differs from one family to another, the subsequent events usually involve family gatherings and photo taking sessions, whereby families would flock to the photography studio to get their photos taken and get them processed there. However in modern times there is probably someone in the family who’s an inspiring photographer, so the whole clan would just pose for a family photo in the family home. But, as the Japanese proverb goes “It is easier to rule a kingdom than to regulate a family” Hari Raya is full of surprises, events and happenings, especially when siblings and relatives gather under one roof after a long while, and there’s no telling on what can be anticipated on the day itself.
One thing's for sure, nobody can complain of being hungry on Hari Raya day. Food is aplenty; and with so many choices, so many ‘open houses’ to go to, it is indeed hard to say no to second (and third) helpings. From ketupat, lemang and rendang to cakes and kuih rayas there’s no mention of the word “diet” on the day of celebration, everybody’s out to have a great time in the presence of good food and greater company.

Not to be forgotten, programmed on TV have been quite a hit with guests and hosts alike. Although there are indeed a lot of Hari Raya-based shows on offer, circus acts never fail to make their appearances over the years. Those who are on visits to the open houses, especially the young ones, would sometimes be glued to the idiot box for hours. It somehow defeats the main goal for the visits – which was to tighten relationships among each other over yummy delicacies.
At the risk of sounding rather corny, the concept of Hari Raya open house really does bring people from all sorts of races and social backgrounds together. Where else can we see a mix of Malays, Chinese, Indians, Sikhs, Caucasians and others congregating happily, eating, drinking and socialising? Only happen on Hari Raya.
My parent is my heart

The person that I loved the most in this world is my parent. They face all the difficulty and obstacles around to raise me up. For the whole life my mother and my father spends their time working to gain money for me and my brother. In our life’s, we need to respect and give full of love to our parent. Without their blessing, our life must feel incomplete. All religions and all societies have given parents an honorable status. From a purely material viewpoint, we find ourselves indebted to our parents, particularly our mother. She not only nourished us in her womb, but went through pain and suffering. She loved us even before we were born. She toiled when we were totally helpless infants. She spent sleepless nights caring for us. Our parents as a team provided for all our needs: physical, educational, psychological, and in many instances, religious, moral, and spiritual.
In Islam, however, respecting, honoring and appreciating parents are not just for a single day of the year, but rather for each and every day. A Muslim child should respect and appreciate his or her parents on a daily basis. Allah mentions that human beings must recognize their parents and that this is second only to the recognition of Allah Himself. Throughout the Quran, we notice that parents are mentioned with appreciation and respect, even if they are senile. In the Quran, there is a very beautiful description of how parents are to be treated; Allah Says (what means): "And your Lord has decreed that you not worship except Him, and to parents, good treatment. Whether one or both of them reach old age [while] with you, say not to them [so much as] 'uff' [i.e., an expression of irritation or disapproval] and do not repel them but speak to them a noble word. And lower to them the wing of humility out of mercy and say: 'My Lord! Have mercy upon them as they brought me up [when I was] small.'" [Quran 17:23-24]
I am very sad when I see many children don’t want to take a responsibility and take care of their parent when they getting older. At that time, we should realize that our parent really needs us to take care and love them. They don’t want our money, but they just want some attention from us. We as children should be sensitive with our parent feeling. Moreover, when they getting older.
We should realize that we just have one mother and one father, when they gone, we don’t have anything else in this world. We will feel empty in our heart, moreover when we not have a chance to do our responsibility and take care of them same just like they taking care of us when we born until become adult. You will become happier if you can make your parent happy. We must thankful if we still have our parent. How lucky are we compared to other person who don’t have parent anymore. We must love our parent and respect them from now on until forever. As long as they life, you should take care of them. This is called karma, when you treat your parent well, your children also will treat you with kindly and love you the same as the way you love your parent. This is Allah promises.
Being fat, healthy or unhealthy?

We can not measure the size of people body with their healthy or unhealthy. We can not discriminate and says that people who have a big size or fat is unhealthy and people who have small size or thin is healthy. In short, it's very difficult to tell. Filtering out what is real risk or benefit from the over-exaggeration and prejudice is tough. Being fat does not automatically mean that one is unhealthy. If they practices good and healthy lifestyle, they will be escaped from many kind of diseases. Sometimes, the fat people are healthier than people who have normal size of body.
Recent studies have shown that the type of fat may be much more important than the amount of fat. Certain types of fats are unhealthy and the right amounts of some fats actually can be healthy. In fact, fat people live longer than thin people and are more likely to survive cardiac events, and some studies have shown that fat can protect against diabetes. Now, I’m not saying we should all go out and get fat for our health which we wouldn’t be able to do anyway, because no one knows how to make a naturally thin person fat any more than they know how to make a naturally fat person thin.
There are some research want to explain and tell other people that being a fat does not mean that they are unhealthy. Poor nutrition and a sedentary lifestyle do cause health problems, in people of all sizes. There are thin people who eat crap and don’t exercise and are thus putting their health at risk and there are fat people who treat their bodies very well but remain fat. This is really true. The society always keeps thinking negative toward fat people according to their health. Human beings deserve to be treated with dignity and respect. Fat people are human beings. Even fat people who are unhealthy still deserve dignity and respect.
If we always do an exercise, and practicing good and healthy lifestyle, does not matter if we are fat, because we still can be healthy because we take care of our self. Nobody wants to be fat, as a human being, all people want to looks perfect, want to get an ideal shape of body especially for a woman. Everybody want to be healthy, even though you are fat people, you still can be healthy. Sometimes, the fat people looks and healthier that the thin people. They must continue their life as usual, and keep thinking positive to their self. Being fat is good as long as you can take care of your self and keep healthy.

Bahasa Malaysia or English Language?

Malaysia is a county which contain three main races which is Malay, Chinese, and also India. In Malaysia, we have Bahasa Malaysia as our national language. As the national language, it is the language of the peoples of Malaysia and functions as a national symbol. It applies to the entire nation and its nationalities. Unfortunately, we can see that mostly of our society not exactly practicing Bahasa Malaysia as a main language in this country, they like to speak broken language in Bahasa Malaysia ad also in English when their talk to each other. As we know, Language is the soul of a nation. Despite the racial and cultural diversity, a national language is believed to help create a bond and national unity.
Although not mostly of the society can speak English well, but they still can not speak Malay in a proper way. Mostly of our society think that Bahasa Malaysia is not important anymore. They don’t want to proud with the national language because for them there is no value anymore for Bahasa Malaysia. They keep busy practicing English Language to improve their communication skill and forget to improve their Bahasa communication. They also think that there is no need to have a good command of Bahasa Malaysia as long as they pass the exam with credits because in the working environment, they will only need English. It is also apprehended that the Bahasa has limited economic and commercial value which indirectly brings to a significant lack in sense of belonging and the pride to the national language.
Bahasa is not being look upon in a respectable level as we can see from the media for example through the Malay dramas particularly. It is very rare to have the chance to watch a ‘pure’ and ‘original’ drama using the proper Bahasa Malaysia nowadays because it is all mixed up with English. On the other hand, there are also limited websites that use Bahasa Malaysia as the main medium of presentation. If this being let to continue, in another 10 years’ time, it is not surprising that Malaysians will be more fluent in English and not Bahasa.
It is not that English language is not necessary for the country; it is just that we must at the same time master and respects our own national language. It is although crucial to master the English, but it is far more important of not forgetting our own national language. Malay language will not disappear, but it risks losing its originality. Without a common language in a country, there will be no unity.

beautiful and lovely heart

The most important thing in our life is the purification of our heart. In Islam, Allah would not place a burden on you, but He would purify you and would perfect His grace upon you, that you may give thanks purifiers. The Holy Prophet also said that religion is founded on cleanliness and the cleanliness is the key to prayer, and cleanliness is one half of belief. We as a Muslims need to have a cleanliness heart to prove to the other religion that Islam is the best way of life.
In Islam, Purity has got four stages, which is the first stage is the purification of the external organs from excrements and filth. The second stage is the purification of the bodily organs from sins and faults. The third stage is the purification of the heart from evil traits and evil vices. The fourth stage is the purification of the inner self from everything except God. This is the stage of the Prophets and the saints. We as a Muslims should practice these four stages in our life to make sure the beautiful of the heart and full of cleanliness belong to us.

Physical purity means cleanliness of the body, clothing and environment. According to the rules of Islam, Muslims should keep their bodies and clothing clean from any impurities, especially the body wastes of humans and animals. Islam insists on the use of clean water to cleanse the body of impurities, and only when water is not available can a person use other things. Even the clothing should be perfectly clean from any drop of urine, speck of feces, or seminal discharge. For that reason, Muslim bathrooms have a source of running water or pitchers of water next to the toilet. It is very important because as a Muslims, they need to perform a salah.

Salah is the name for the obligatory prayers which are performed five times a day, and are a direct link between the worshipper and God with no earthly intermediaries. A prayer takes a few minutes to perform. Salah is the ritual prayer that the Muslims need to execute in their live as one of the way to express their thankful to ALLAH for all the given in their life.

Salah is also one of the things that can give the cleanliness and the purity of the heart. It can clean our heart from the bad feeling for other people. Other than that, with salah, Muslims can prayer requires physical acts that are healthy for the body. It also organizes one’s time during the day and regularizes one’s entire life. Salah will build our belief and relationship between us and our creation become stronger. Besides that, salah also can build a positive reaction between us and other Muslims in order to gain a purity heart and positive thinking among us.
As a conclusion, it’s not easy to gain a beautiful and lovely heart, but it’s also not hard to gain it if we practice our daily life in Islam way. As I mentioned just now, Islam is the best way to practice in our life. There were many benefits that we can gain from Islam. One of that such as the topic that has been discussed which is the cleanliness, and for the specific thing the cleanliness for the heart. It is very important to gain a beautiful heart in order to live our life.

Harmful Lifestyles affect the Environment in Malaysia

After take the breakfast and doing some work or chores in their house, Malaysians jump into their vehicles and head off to work with their air conditioner blasting, looking forward to sitting in an air-conditioned office all day. This is just a small part of Malaysian’s unthinking lifestyle that impacts our environment minute-by-minute everyday. Other than that, most of our society don’t want to use the public transportation, they practically and more comfortable to use their own transport, can you imagine if one family bring one car to their destination, it’s naturally will harm the environment with the air pollution.
The lifestyle of most Malaysians is detrimental to our environment. Malaysians use and abuse what the earth has to give, taking its natural resources and leaving in their place pollution. Just a few examples of how Malaysians contribute to destroying the environment include the greenhouse effect, over consumption of natural resources, and pollution of the water and air. Malaysian do not realize that the earth become more older and older, one day this place will not save for the human to live anymore, this is because of the mankind activities that contributed to the harmful environment in this world.
Until the majority of Malaysians decide to change the way that they live day-to-day, the environment will become progressively worse. There have been a number of attempts to better the environment such as public transportation and car pool lanes but this is only drop in the bucket. Until Malaysians begin to utilize these opportunities, make conscientious efforts to become more educated about the impact of their actions, and willingly give up or develop alternatives for their harmful luxuries, things will only get worse.

Malaysians should open their eyes and mind to see how they manipulated the environment comes into this stage. Actually, we are in the critical condition which is the environment is no longer in the good situation. Society must change their lifestyle from this moment to save the environment. This is very important to make sure we can maintain a good quality of environment, if we think that we have our responsibility for the future and for our generation, we should start to take care for the environment from now on. All the society should play important roles and know their responsibility toward the earth.

bismillah..

Maksud Hadith Nabi s.a.w

"Alangkah beratnya timbangan amalan kebajikan mereka.".

Sesungguhnya menjadi sedemikian itu kerana mereka memulai segala pembicaraan mereka dengan Bismillah Kerana bismillah ......itu namanya Zat Allah Yang Maha Agung.

bismillah...
